Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and financial operations across a diverse, multi-entity organization spanning agriculture, food manufacturing, and real estate. This position will play a key role in financial reporting, internal controls, cash flow management, and strategic planning while ensuring accurate financial oversight across multiple business entities.

The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, multi-entity experience, and the ability to manage complex financial operations while partnering with leadership to support business growth and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounting operations across multiple entities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close.

Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across various business entities.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and financial analysis to support business decisions.

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP, tax requirements, and applicable regulations.

Oversee intercompany transactions, account reconciliations, and consolidated financial reporting.

Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and collaboration with CPAs and other financial advisors.

Monitor financial performance across agriculture, food manufacturing, and real estate operations.

Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial reporting processes.

Lead, mentor, and support accounting staff while promoting accuracy, accountability, and efficiency.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, streamline workflows, and enhance financial visibility for leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibility.

Multi-entity accounting experience is highly desirable.

Experience in agriculture, food manufacturing, real estate, or other complex, multi-entity environments is preferred.

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, internal controls, and month-end/year-end close processes.

Experience with intercompany transactions, consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

CPA or CMA designation is a plus.
