Accounting Manager, Irvine Based Company -Remote
Role Overview
Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for an opportunity with a Fresno-area employer. The successful candidate will oversee core accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, and deliver accurate, timely reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure accurate financial statements.
- Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Maintain internal controls and support compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Coordinate audits and provide requested schedules and documentation.
- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
- Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, and audit coordination.
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
- CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
