Staff Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant (Grower Division) to join our client’s finance team in Fresno, CA. This role involves managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting month-end close processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Support accounts payable with grower payments, expense allocation and capitalization
- Prepare financial reports and assist with audit preparation
- Monitor and analyze accounting data for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies
- Maintain fixed asset and inventory records

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment
- Proficiency in Famous ERP Software Required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
