Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Cost Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you will oversee cost accounting processes, analyze cost data, and support budgeting and forecasting to drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills and experience in manufacturing or production environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate cost accounting records and systems
- Analyze production costs, variances, and inventory valuations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management
- Collaborate with operations and finance teams to improve cost controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Assist with internal and external audits related to cost accounting
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principles
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus
