Receptionist/Accounts Payable Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist/Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. This dual-role position involves managing front desk operations while supporting the finance department with accounts payable tasks. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly and efficiently
- Manage daily mail distribution and office supplies inventory
- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance
- Prepare and schedule payments to vendors and suppliers
- Maintain accurate accounts payable records and files
- Assist with general administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in receptionist and/or accounts payable roles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
