Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to oversee and manage all payroll functions for west coast based employees. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and attention to detail to support a smooth payroll operation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multiple sites, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Supervise payroll staff and provide training and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports to government agencies
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain employee records and benefits data
- Continuously improve payroll processes and recommend system enhancements

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 5 years payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
- Experience working with accounting or staffing agencies is a plus
