ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join a growing organization in the Fresno area. In this role, you will be responsible for processing accurate and timely payroll while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees
• Maintain and audit employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes
• Calculate and process garnishments, deductions, bonuses, and overtime
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee pay inquiries in a timely manner
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and assist with year-end W-2 processing
• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate data across systems
• Stay current on California wage and hour laws and federal payroll regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of payroll processing experience required
• Proficiency in payroll software such as ADP, Paychex, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of California labor laws and payroll tax requirements
• High attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
• FPC or CPP certification is a plus
