Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to support our finance leadership team. This role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the development of internal controls and financial strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Help develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff to promote professional growth.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is a plus.
