ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a well-established client company in the Fresno area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall health of the company's cash flow. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices in a timely manner
Post and reconcile incoming payments to the appropriate accounts
Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts via phone and email
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries
Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates to management
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and documentation
Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms
Strong Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of transactions
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle collections professionally
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
