Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Receivable Manager to oversee the full cycle of AP and AR operations for a growing client in the Fresno area. In this role, you will lead a small team, ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions, and play a key part in maintaining healthy cash flow. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional ready to take ownership of a critical function within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate AP/AR team members to drive performance and efficiency
Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, customer billing, and collections activity
Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain clean, audit-ready records
Prepare and present aging reports, cash flow summaries, and other financial reports to management
Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors or clients to resolve billing and payment issues
Support month-end and year-end close processes in coordination with the accounting team

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
3 to 5 years of progressive experience in accounts payable and/or receivable, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP/AR best practices
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, NetSuite, or similar platforms
Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams
Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting is a plus
