Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. This position is ideal for an organized accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values accuracy, confidentiality, and strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, code, and verify invoices in accordance with company policies
• Match invoices to purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documentation
• Prepare and process check, ACH, and electronic payments
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and filing systems
• Respond to vendor inquiries and communicate with internal departments
• Assist with month-end closing and accounts payable reporting

Qualifications

• Two or more years of accounts payable or related accounting experience
• High school diploma required; accounting coursework or degree preferred
• Working knowledge of accounting principles and invoice processing procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP software
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Professional communication skills and commitment to confidentiality
