ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join a growing organization in the Fresno area. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of vendor invoices. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining financial accuracy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process and code a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and on time
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
Maintain organized and up-to-date vendor records and files
Communicate professionally with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
Assist with month-end closing activities including AP accruals and account reconciliations
Support audits by providing documentation and reports as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

2 or more years of accounts payable or general accounting experience
Solid understanding of AP processes, general ledger coding, and three-way matching
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel including basic formulas and data entry
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
