We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and maintaining accurate financial records to support smooth accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify invoices and expense reports for accuracy and proper authorization
- Process vendor payments timely via check, ACH, or wire transfers
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable documents
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries
- Assist with month-end closing and accounts payable reporting
- Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
