ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and support accurate, timely financial reporting. This role will lead accounting processes, strengthen internal controls, and partner with leadership to provide meaningful financial insights that support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance; investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate annual audits, tax filings, and other compliance requirements with external partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff while promoting efficiency and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including management or supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
