Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our clients' finance teams with essential day-to-day accounting functions. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining accurate financial records. You will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and on time
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end close procedures
- Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, and supporting documentation
- Assist with data entry and ensure the integrity of financial data in accounting systems
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
- Prepare basic financial reports and spreadsheets as requested by management
- Support senior accounting staff with special projects and administrative tasks

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting or Business preferred
- 1 or more years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and general ledger functions
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
