Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing the financial operations within the company. This role involves handling administrative tasks to ensure proper financial documentation, preparing financial statements, and confirming the accuracy of accounting database information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Document financial transaction details and monitor the transactions.
Prepare and file financial documents.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Fact-check accounting data.
Reconcile company accounts.
Process payroll and track payroll data.
Assist with tax payments and returns.
Work with staff accountants as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience in agriculture industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
