Cost Accountant

Company Location: Beverly Hills, CA

Compensation Target: $75-85K

Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required | Accounting or Finance

Summary: We are looking for a diligent highly motivated Cost Accountant to join our team! Responsibilities include performing general cost accounting, analyzing sales & cost, issuing sales invoices, and other related duties for the organization.

Job Type: Full Time | Direct Hire

Work Location: Remote

Job Duties:

• Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis
• Assisting another staff accountant in reviewing cost assumptions and accruals vs. actuals
• Provide month end support
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
• Responsible for end-to-end processing of grower accounting
• Grower and vendor account creation

Experience Required:

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Fruit industry experience
• Sales and purchase order experience
• Intermediate Excel knowledge
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills
• Problem-solving and time management skills
• Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; very good with spreadsheets

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required (Required)
