Salary: $250,000/year

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Tax Director to lead and oversee all tax-related functions for our organization. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to guide high-level tax planning and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of federal, state, and local tax compliance
• Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives
• Ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations
• Oversee preparation and review of complex tax returns
• Manage tax audits and work closely with external auditors and regulatory agencies
• Provide guidance to executive leadership on tax-related matters and business decisions
• Lead, mentor, and develop the tax team

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Taxation (required)
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license (required)
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience
• Strong knowledge of federal and California tax regulations
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
