Stardom Employment Consultants is hiring a Staff Accountant to support the general accounting functions of a growing organization. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in accounting principles who is comfortable handling reconciliations, journal entries, and month‑end close activities.

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will support day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and financial reporting, while assisting with month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close
• Support preparation of financial reports and schedules
• Assist with fixed assets, depreciation, and accruals
• Support audits and provide requested documentation
• Collaborate with AP and AR teams as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2–4 years of staff or general accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently
