Description

Stardom Employment Consultants is now hiring a highly organized and efficient Payroll Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will be responsible for maintaining payroll records, processing payroll for multiple locations, and working closely with our HR team to resolve any payroll-related issues.

Location: Fresno area| Schedule: Mon-Fri8am-5pm| Pay: $18-$22/Hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for multiple locations on a biweekly basis, including the calculation of pay and the preparation of pay stubs
  • Maintain payroll records, including employee time and attendance, benefits, and tax information
  • Collaborate with the HR team to resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies
  • Prepare and file payroll tax returns and reports in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Assist with the preparation of payroll-related reports and analyses, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software, such as ADP or QuickBooks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
