Location: Selma area| Compensation: $70K-$75K| Benefits: Exceptional Benefit’s| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
Responsibilities:
- Analyze network needs and contribute to network architecture design, integration, and installation
- Install and maintain local area network hardware and software, including servers, peripherals, network nodes, terminals, and wiring
- Manage network users, user environment, directories, and security
- Train users on software and equipment usage
- Communicate with other departments to report and resolve software, hardware, and operational issues
- Prepare and maintain network configuration and cabling documentation
- Coordinate network schedules, backups, and downtime with users
- Monitor and maintain network stability
- Evaluate local area network hardware and software requirements and capabilities, and make recommendations
- Troubleshoot
- Network Infrastructure
Requirements:
- Associate degree (Bachelor’s preferred) from a two-year college or technical school
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, education, trade school, or work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Oracle software products, Oracle cloud applications and infrastructure, and hardware experience with multi-mode fiber and network switches
- Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer hardware, and software
- Knowledge of minimum internal control standards for IT
- Ability to supervise a team of up to 3 and effectively communicate technical problems to users with minimal computer knowledge and skill
- Ability to multitask and skilled in networking departments together for optimal business performance
- Skilled in supporting a local area network, intranet connectivity, and client/server environment
