The Director of IT with food manufacturing experience is responsible for leading and managing the information technology (IT) department of a food manufacturing company. This includes the development and implementation of IT strategies and policies that align with the business goals of the organization. Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing IT strategies and policies that align with the business goals of the organization
• Managing the day-to-day operations of the IT team, including the hiring and training of new team members
• Overseeing the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure
• Ensuring the security and privacy of the company’s data and systems
• Collaborating with other departments to identify and address IT-related needs and opportunities
• Managing budgets and ensuring that the IT team is working within allocated resources

Skills and Qualifications: 

• The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in the food manufacturing industry
• 3+ years of experience
• Must be a hands-on Director of IT
• The Director of IT should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and be able to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language
