This position will be responsible for grower reporting and accounting functions and supervision of the production accounting team. Location: Fresno area| Compensation: $110K-$130K| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm| Benefits: Outstanding Benefits Package| Industry: Agriculture / Farming

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Production accounting team to ensure day-to-day responsibilities are completed
• Support production management with the preparation of annual payment schedules for grower agreements
• Settle grower deals in a timely manner in accordance to contract at end of the season
• Review AR collection status on open invoices
• Administer all accounting related to grower clients. Process and prepare accurate operational
• Financial information for grower clients within predetermined deadlines
• Assist with grower payable reconciliation and review cooling rebates
• Assist Controller with the annual budget process
• Oversee the hiring, training, evaluation, and work of the production accounting team/direct reports
• Supervision of production cost payments and accruals as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications
• 3+ years of grower accounting experience or agricultural accounting experience is highly preferred
• High level of organization
• Great time management
• High level of customer service
• Great communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
