We are seeking a talented and dedicated Grower Accountant to join our team. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our farming or agriculture business, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis. You will work closely with the business owner and management team to ensure the ongoing financial health of our organization.

Location: Kingsburg area| Compensation: $80K-$90K| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm| Benefits: Exceptional Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and statements of cash flows
• Create and manage budgets and forecast future financial performance
• Identify and analyze variances between budget and actual performance
• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making
• Collaborate with the business owner and management team to develop and implement financial strategies
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and laws
• Conduct financial analysis to inform business decisions
• Recommend financial actions to improve the financial performance of the business

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in the farming or agriculture industry
• Proficiency with accounting software and financial analysis tools
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
