Compensation: $110K-$130K| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm| Benefits: Outstanding Benefits, top 4% in the Central Valley|Industry: Food Manufacturing| Location: Fresno area
Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis leadership at the manufacturing plant.
- Provide analysis and insights in support of manufacturing plant business decision-making.
- Provide financial reports, interpret financial information, and communicate with the plant management team.
- Prepare financials in support of quoting for new business opportunities (labor and assembly costs, overhead allocation, investments).
- Partner with headquarters for month-end close accruals and reserves.
- Analyze monthly expenses, providing explanations for variances to budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Support business decision-making at the automotive manufacturing plant.
- Manage plant budget, implementing effective cost controls and reviews.
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure effective operational controls are in place for inventory, fixed assets, scrap, and manufacturing costs.
- Create monthly/quarterly financial and operational management reporting.
- Develops financials for strategic/operating plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in FP&A or finance managerial position, with accounting responsibility.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in finance at a manufacturing business.
- Preference for cost accounting experience (establishing setting labor and overhead rates, manufacturing absorption, manufacturing variances, inventory valuation).
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel, and experience with SAP (or Oracle).
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems, as applicable
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
