Location: Porterville|Benefits: Exceptional benefits, Daycare benefits, and Retirement| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:30am -5:30pm|Compensation: $80K-$95K

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and implement best safety practices for a safe work environment
• Ensure compliance with OSHA programs such as Heat Prevention Illness
• Responsible for the creation, development, and implementation of the Safety curriculum
• Oversee all Safety OSHA, CUPA logs and reporting
• Organize and oversee safety inspections and partner with Plan Operations
• Workers’ Compensation, investigate, review, and analyze incidents
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental federal, state, and local regulations

Skills and Experience: 

• 5+ years of experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to solve problems both independently and collaborative
• Posses internal customer-oriented attitude

Education: 

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health; Safety Science; Environmental Science: Engineering or related field preferred
