Stardom Employment Consultants is now hiring a Controls Engineer/Project Engineer. This opportunity is in the food manufacturing industry and is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems and automation solutions for food production processes. This may include programming and commissioning control systems, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues, and working with project teams to ensure successful project completion.

Compensation: $90K-$120K| Benefits: Exceptional Benefits| Full-time|

Responsibilities: 

•  Responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, as well as overseeing the installation and maintenance of control systems and equipment
•  Designing control systems that meet food safety regulations and standards, such as HACCP, GMP, and FSMA
• Programming PLC and HMI systems for food production processes. -Troubleshooting and resolving control system issues
• Working with project teams to ensure successful project completion. -Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Overseeing the installation and maintenance of control systems and equipment.
• Improving the efficiency of food production processes and reducing waste

Skills and Qualifications:

•  A strong technical background in control systems and automation
• Experience in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong project management skills
• The ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
• requires a person with strong technical skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• They must be able to work independently and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also important for this role, as the Controls Engineer/Project Engineer will need to work closely with other teams such as production, maintenance, and quality control to ensure the smooth operation of the production process
• 10+ years of related manufacturing experience
