We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Supervisor. The position requires advanced knowledge of invoice processing and payment in a timely fashion.

Location: Fresno area| Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm | Benefits: Great benefits package| Compensation range: $60K-$75K | Industry: land development & home building

Responsibilities:

• Process matching of invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents
• Monitor AP reports, reporting on significant expenditures, and ensure that accurate and timely payments are made to all vendors
• Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers to general ledger accounts monthly
• Ensure the company has obtained W-9s of all vendors and oversight of the year-end 1099 process
• Responsible for identifying and recommending to management solutions for increased efficiencies throughout the payables process
• Manages Accounts Payable coordinators, assigns specific duties within Accounts Payable
• Supervise train and develop Accounts Payable staff
• Review timecards and authorize time off request
• Respond to internal customer service requests such as specific payment research or account reconciliation
• Review checks and vouchers to verify proper payments before signature by the controller

Qualifications and Skills:

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
• Self-motivated, results orientated and excellent personal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent communication and coaching skills

Education:

• Degree preferred but not required
