Job Title: Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Location: Selma, California
Salary: $175,000 per year

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial strategy, performance management, and providing key insights to drive business decisions in a manufacturing environment.
Position Overview:
As the Director of FP&A, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial planning and analysis activities within the company. You will provide strategic financial insights, analysis, and forecasting to the executive team to guide business decisions and ensure the company’s financial health. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to communicate complex financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the FP&A team in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and financial reports.
- Develop and maintain financial models and tools for forecasting, budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
- Partner with senior management to provide actionable insights into financial performance, identify risks, and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), cost structures, and margins to identify areas of opportunity and efficiency improvements within the manufacturing operations.
- Oversee financial analysis related to pricing, product costing, and capital investments.
- Prepare and present financial reports and performance metrics to executive leadership and board members.
- Support the company’s strategic planning and decision-making processes with in-depth financial analysis and scenario modeling.
- Manage the annual budgeting process and ensure alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain) to ensure accurate financial data and alignment with operational goals.
- Lead financial risk assessments and ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the FP&A team, developing their skills and fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing or similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, financial reporting software, and advanced Excel modeling.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting, and supply chain management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimization.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
