Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join a private company in Reedley. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. This role involves managing financial records, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize company performance.
- Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
