Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Construction Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Estimator and will have the opportunity to develop into a Junior Estimator role. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Estimator with daily administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and scheduling.
- Maintain and organize project files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Prepare and distribute project-related correspondence, such as emails, letters, and reports.
- Support the Estimator in preparing cost estimates and bid proposals.
- Track project progress and update project schedules as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial reports.
- Attend project meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management,
- Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a construction or administrative role is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
