Job Position: HR Generalist

Salary: $75K-$95K

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Oversee the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and assisting with the hiring process. Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and conflicts. Foster a positive work environment by resolving employee issues and promoting employee engagement.
  • Performance Management: Assist with performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal-setting, and coaching. Support managers in addressing performance issues and developing improvement plans.
  • Compensation & Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks. Assist with salary benchmarking and compensation analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies. Stay updated on changes in employment laws and regulations, ensuring all HR practices are aligned with legal requirements.
  • Training & Development: Coordinate or assist with employee training programs to enhance skills, development, and career growth. Support the creation and delivery of training materials as needed.
  • Employee Records & Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, job history, and performance data.
  • Handle confidential information in accordance with privacy laws and company policies.
  • HR Reporting & Analytics: Compile HR reports related to employee turnover, recruitment metrics, and other HR data to help make informed business decisions.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure workplace safety programs are followed and assist with the implementation of health and safety protocols as required by regulations.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    2+ years of experience in HR or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
