Position Overview:
As the Vice President of Finance, you will play a critical role in driving the financial success of our organization. You will oversee all financial activities, provide strategic direction, and ensure the integrity of our financial operations. This role requires a seasoned finance professional with a deep understanding of the real estate and investment sectors, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of success.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our business goals and drive growth and profitability.
Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Investment Management: Manage and optimize the company’s investment portfolio, ensuring maximum returns and alignment with our strategic objectives.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, providing insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate and investment sectors.
Skills: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; proficiency in financial software and tools.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, drive change, and achieve results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
