Job Details:
Title: Payroll Admin
Pay: $20-24/ hour
Location: Fresno, CA
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a bi-weekly or weekly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain and update employee records, including hours worked, deductions, and benefits.
- Ensure tax withholdings and other deductions are accurate.
- Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide timely resolutions.
- Support HR with employee data entry and other administrative tasks as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end payroll reporting and reconciliation.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal payroll regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll processing, tax withholdings, and benefits administration.
- Experience with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
