Job Description: As a Junior Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will focus on ensuring accurate and timely reconciliations, along with supporting various accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Support the accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment posting, and collections.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Audit Support: Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Expense Tracking: Monitor and reconcile expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
