Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform account analysis and variance analysis to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial data.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
