Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: Fresno, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: Up to $70,000 per year
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join a dynamic team in Fresno. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and supporting the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist with tax filings and compliance.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
