Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Analyze financial statements and assist with internal and external reporting
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Mentor junior accounting staff and support process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
