Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage month-end and year-end closings, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Maintain general ledger and reconcile accounts
- Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets
- Assist with audits and support in the preparation of tax filings
Provide leadership and mentorship to junior accounting staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (Advanced Excel skills required)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
