Senior Accountant – Fresno, CA. – $80-85K

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounting who are looking to take on more responsibility and leadership within the finance department. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain complex financial statements and reports.
• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with accounting software is a plus.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
