Job Position: HR Assistant

Pay: $20-24/ hour

Job Type: Temporary

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Assist with new hire orientations, paperwork, and exit processes.
  • Administrative Support: Manage HR records, update employee databases, and maintain personnel files.
  • Recruitment Support: Schedule interviews, post job openings, and coordinate candidate communication.
  • Benefits Coordination: Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries.
  • Payroll Support: Ensure accurate timekeeping records and assist with payroll preparation.
  • Policy Compliance: Ensure company policies are properly communicated and enforced.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
  • HR Reporting: Generate HR reports on metrics such as headcount, turnover, and time-off usage.
  • Event Coordination: Help plan and organize company events, training sessions, and meetings.
  • General Office Support: Assist with other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
  • Experience with HR software (e.g., HRIS systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong customer service mindset and ability to work with employees at all levels.
  • Problem-solving and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.
