Job Summary:

The Full-Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. This role requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the entire accounts payable and receivable process, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.
Process payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, including preparation and filing of tax returns.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a full-charge capacity. Experience in Agriculture or Manufacturing Industry.
Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent certification preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
