Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly
- Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
- Manage payroll processing, including benefit deductions, garnishments, and taxes
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Provide support for special projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
