Job Summary:

The Director of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities. This role involves managing financial planning, budgeting, and analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial information. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance or data analytics with finance experience, and excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee accounting, financial planning, and budgeting processes for the division.
Develop and implement strategic financial objectives in line with company goals.
Manage and mitigate financial risk through effective policies and controls.
Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic business decisions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Drive continuous improvement in financial performance and efficiency.
Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals.

Tasks and Duties:

Supervise and lead the accounting team activities.
Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation of accounts.
Schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
Set up and monitor financial controls and protocols that comply with accepted accounting practices (AAP).
Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Data Analytics with finance experience.
MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is highly preferred.
Proven 2+ years of experience in finance management and accounting roles, with a minimum of two years of managing finance staff.

Experience in the manufacture industry is highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of accounting software and databases.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
