We’re partnering with a well-established and rapidly growing manufacturing company in the Central Valley that is seeking a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead their accounting and finance operations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed assets
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and audit requirements
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Partner with executive leadership to support strategic planning and financial decision-making
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical abilities
• Experience in manufacturing or agriculture industries is a plus
