Position Overview
We’re partnering with a leading manufacturing company that’s looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Controller to oversee their financial operations. If you’re passionate about accuracy, compliance, and driving financial performance in a dynamic production environment, this could be your next big move.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Financial Leadership: Manage all accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and forecasts, monitor variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Cost Accounting: Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to track production costs and improve profitability.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to GAAP and regulatory requirements while maintaining strong internal controls.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to align financial goals with production objectives.
- Audit Coordination: Oversee internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
- Reporting: Deliver clear, timely financial reports and analysis to senior leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and present financial insights clearly.
