Drive Financial Excellence: Join Our Team as Controller in CA

Large manufacturing organization with multiple-sites and multi-entity financial statements requiring consolidation and budgeting expertise!  This Controller role is designed for a big 4 audit CPA with extensive management experience to drive company growth by way of effeciency improvement and people management!  Score card (KPI) management experience is highly desired with advanced analytical skills!   Here are the details: 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Accounting Operations: Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll staff.
Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial priciples utilizing ERP Netsuite.
Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
Audit Coordination: Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational growth goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • CPA or CMA certification highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
