Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Controller to lead our finance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and strategic growth of our organization. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Accounting Operations: Manage accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Financial Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and drive business performance.
Audit Coordination: Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Tax Compliance: Oversee tax planning and compliance, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Team Leadership: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that align with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • CPA or CMA certification highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
