Job Summary: We are looking for a meticulous and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and assisting with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports.
  • Process accounts receivable and payable.
  • Manage and process payroll in a timely manner.
  • Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
