Accounts Payable Specialist – Fresno, CA. – Up to $28 hr.

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of all invoices.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Assist in month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
• Monitor and manage the AP aging report to ensure timely payments.
• Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
• Continuously improve AP processes and procedures for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
